If your company wants to keep the registration number to use later or assign it to another vehicle that is ok.

This can be done online on the DVLA website. Just follow this link https://www.gov.uk/personalised-vehicle-registration-numbers/take-private-number-off. DVLA will charge you a fee of £80 for this service.

We can still start the valuation using the private registration.

Yes, RFS will purchase damaged vehicles. You or your company just need to inform us and upload some photos of the damage before we make an offer. Then we can adjust our offer accordingly.

Yes, RFS are more than happy to buy high mileage vehicles.

Yes, RFS will purchase vehicles that are non-runners. You or your company just need to inform us so we can give you an offer that will reflect this.

Yes, RFS will purchase Grey Fleet just inform us before we make an offer.

Based upon the information you have submitted we will make you an offer to purchase the vehicle(s).

We will arrange for one of our drivers to collect the vehicle or fleet at a convenient time and place for you.

Before remarketing any vehicle, we will have all signwriting and graphics professionally removed at no cost to you.

RFS will work out the valuation of your vehicle based on the age, mileage, specifications and some photos of your vehicle.

At RFS there is no length of time you or your company needs to have owned your vehicle or fleet before you can sell to us. We regularly see our competitors say 3 (three) months, but with RFS you can sell your vehicle or fleet to us when you want.

Our valuations are valid for the calendar month we made the valuation in.

Upon satisfactory inspection of your vehicle, full payment is made direct to your bank account. We will not take your vehicle until you are satisfied funds have cleared.

No waiting 4 days for payment like you will see from some of our competitors.

Option 1

You can settle the finance directly with the finance company yourself.

(Please note we do check with the finance company that the settlement has been paid).

Option 2

We can settle the finance still owed direct to the finance company. The remaining amount of our offer will be paid to you.

If there is any vehicle excise duty still left on your company vehicle or fleet, DVLA will automatically send a refund cheque of the remaining full months left when RFS transfer ownership.

The cheque will be sent to the address and name or company name that was printed on the vehicle logbook.

Step One

Using our online form enter your vehicle details and upload some images. RFS will then make you an offer to purchase your vehicle(s).

Step Two

If you choose to accept our offer, RFS will arrange free collection of your vehicle(s) at a time and place convenient to you.

Step Three

Upon satisfactory inspection, full payment will be made direct to your bank account before we take your vehicle(s).
